Orbital Disease Photographs

1 - This person presented with pain on eye movements and double vision. There is localised redness of the white of the eye. 2 - MRI scan of the orbits showing the right superior oblique muscle is enlarged (large white arrow) compared to the left (small white arrow). 3 - A right orbital biopsy of the enlarged muscle has been performed via a small upper eyelid skin crease incision. The biopsy confirmed orbital inflammation. 4 - After a course of oral steroid therapy the inflammation st this stage has markedly improved.
